Silver Maples Home Improvement is growing, and we're looking for a motivated Carpenter with framing experience to join our crew. We are a locally owned, licensed, and insured home improvement company based in Arkdale, Wisconsin, serving homeowners throughout a 45-mile radius since 2009. Our work includes residential framing, additions, garages, decks, siding, roofing, and more.

Location

Arkdale, WI and surrounding areas — Adams County and Central Wisconsin

(project sites within approximately 45 miles of Arkdale).

Employment Type

Full-time. Year-round work available. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

Compensation

Competitive pay based on experience. Discuss during interview.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Framing Carpenter with Silver Maples, your day-to-day work will include:

Residential and light commercial framing — floors, walls, roof structures
Garage and addition construction from foundation to dried-in shell
Deck framing and structural work using Northern Crossarm KDAT treated lumber
Reading and following blueprints, plans, and construction drawings
Measuring, cutting, and fastening lumber and engineered wood products to spec
Setting up and safely operating power tools and equipment
Working alongside other tradespeople and subcontractors on job sites
Keeping job sites clean, safe, and organized
Communicating clearly with the crew lead and homeowners when needed

What We're Looking For

Experience (Preferred, Not Required)

Prior framing or carpentry experience in residential construction
Familiarity with common power tools — circular saw, nail gun, drill, reciprocating saw
Ability to read a tape measure and basic construction drawings
Knowledge of Wisconsin building practices and code a plus
